Hiya peoples
I have just upgraded my computer and am having difficulty getting sound.. I have...ecsk7s5a mother board and pentium 4.. no sound card at the mo..

I have checked all bois settings and as far as i can see they are correct.. got all drivers appart from the sound driver for the board as it gets to 20% in to the instalation and quits out with an error message... i have contacted the the board manufacturer and they say that something is wrong with my instalation not there download..
I am a real newb at anything outside of windows so any advice on how to "get some bloomin sound" would be a bonus..

Any tips???

thanks in advance..

willy

So what is your sound card model again? What version of driver are you installing? And what is the error message you got?

Get another pair and see if they work. Go into BIOS to see if the onboard sound is disabled.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
