Help

I record seminars that last from 1-6 hours that are transmitted over fm radio for the hearing impaired. I am trying to find an mp3 player/recorder that will suit my needs. I tried one this weekend (Samsung) 1 GB. I have a problem with static during the recording that came in and out distorting the talk. It was confusing to use, the control was jumpy. Transferring it to my computer so I could burn it wasn't bad. Has anyone had experience with a more user friendly player that would suit my needs. Samsung said, they only use one fm chip, what I need is one that would receive a strong signal so it would not drift. Being a novice I am looking for any suggestion. I have a few inquiries out there to companies like panasonic that might meet my needs but haven't heard anything yet.

thanks,

Wadda
