Question

hello security question

Mar 14, 2017 11:55AM PDT

We are looking at setting up Hello with pins and facial recognition. We are concerned about security. Is there a way in the security log to tell who logged in with a pin, password, or face?

Thanks,

Just in case

I'm going to skip how the event log works here. And write that WHO is never a sure thing since with face, pin and password you can't be entirely sure.

How secure must this log in be?

it's going to show that your account is logged on. So you cant determine who used your account unless you know who was using your computer at that specific. In order to login you have to use an account that exists no matter which way you login. So in other words if someone logs they have to use an account that has authority.

Does not have authority and yet, I'm in.

PCs at their heart and soul (in their design) do what we tell them if we have physical access. This can really upset folks that didn't know this basic principal.
