That photo, and others showing "touch landings" in Afghanistan, have
been circulating for a couple of years. I can only assume that some of
these pilots push the regulatory envelope at times just for the fun of it.
There are stories in books, written by survivors of deep penetration
missions, that sound almost impossible about "extraction" by that type of helicopter.
