On any PC did you try other USB ports? On desktops you avoid the front ports.

If you use any driver updater, I see this happen. I don't advise use of such. Only use the drivers from your PC maker.

Please tell more:
- what headset, what driver exactly
- what OS
- about the 'freeze-lag'

If you use the standard 3.5" audio out to a headphone or speaker set (in stead of this headset), does that stop also, when the freeze-lag starts?

Headset problem
Apr 18, 2018 8:12AM PDT

Its Razer Electra V2 Usb and using razer synapse 2.0 and Razer Surround Pro.
I got Windows 7 Ultimate
When headset will stop producing sound I had to disable and enable it again. Some of these times that sound stopped I realized that screen was freezing for 1 sec every few seconds while i was in-game.
I used to have a speaker set which did not have that problem.
Also my previous headset was with 3.5mm jack and everything was working fine.
