Question

Headset sound changed?

Hello!

Im using the Razer Electra V2 analog headset, which provide virtual 7.1 surround sound. Im currently using a laptop, which owns only one 3.5mm jack that is for both headphones & mic. So for the mic to work, I had to buy a as small device that connects both the headphones wire and the mic wire into a usb.

This is the one I got:
https://www.e-shop.gr/sound-card-logilink-ua0053-usb-20-audio-adapter-51-sound-effect-p-PER.756663

It worked. But I have a question about the device. It says that this device makes 5.1 sound effect. So does the device ruin the virtual 7.1 surround sound of the headphones?

If yes, is there a solution?

Thanks for your time!
