Yesterday I installed Audacity, a sound recording and processing freeware program. I had to change a number of settings (which I followed various directions and didn't record what I did) to make it work and I was told to put lame_enc.dll on the desktop as part of enabling it to work. Today the front headphone jack on my new-to-me HP Pavilion a1700n running Windows 7 PC does not work. I suspect a connection between yesterday's changes. Any suggestions, please?
