Question

Headphones not recognized but still play.

May 20, 2017 5:46PM PDT

My headphones when plugged in will not be recognized by my computer but still plays sound out of both(speakers/headphones) and i cant turn off my speakers without the headphones also losing sound. The headphone jack is a little loose and i'm wondering if there is a way to fix this without tearing my computer apart and soldering it back in place or if i can somehow just turn off speakers somewhere without affecting the headphone jack. Thanks in advance.
