Question

headphones for Surround Sound System

by OzzyStu / November 27, 2011 11:11 PM PST

Hi Everyone,

I have a Samsung HT-BD1255W Blu ray/wireless surround sound system.

We have moved house and now the tv is closer to the bedroom so I am wondering is there any way to connect headphones to these units? There is obviously no headphone jack and the only audio out is optical.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
Stu

This way you can pick you headphones, or keep using the ones you already have.

Yes I did think of that after I posted however I know have discovered that both the digital audio plugs are digital in so there is actually NO audio out on this unit.

Is it possible somewhere through the audio settings to turn off the surround sound and listen to the blu ray movie through the television (which has a headphone jack) via the HDMI cable?

Thanks
Stu

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
