Question

Headphone Speakers and Mic cannot work at same time.

Sep 1, 2018 4:40PM PDT

Quick thing to mention: It is a known issue with my computer. I tried out these headphones on other devices and the speaker part and mic were able to work at the same time.

Here are the important computer specs:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5 4590 @ 3.30GHz
Now for everything audio.
NVIDIA High Def Audio, Intel Display Audio, Realtek High Def Audio, NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (wave extensible, WDM)
Realtek is the main audio card. I have my Realtek stereo mix enabled and set to default, and default or disabled/enabled it doesn't seem to make a difference as long as the headphone mic is set to default communications. I should note that if I plug in my headphones to nearly any jack, the Line In option will not do anything, not even headphones or mic. I'm an idiot with this stuff. If it is set to headphones, only speakers work, not the mic. I've tried nearly every method I can find online, changing properties, defaults, actually opening up my computer and cleaning it out and fixing things. Nothing seems to have worked.
