Header and Footer office 2003

Feb 1, 2007 1:02AM PST

Does anyone know of a way to create the header of a document only on the first page of a MS Word document. I do not want the header on any page but the first. I'm using Office 2003.

Thanks!
Dan

Insert a section break and then edit the header to be blank?

I think I read that and it faded right out of my brain. Appreciate it!

You can also do different Odd and Even here.

Note that if you already have a header on the document, when you do the Different First Page your current header will be pushed to page 2 and iff you also check different odd and even it will be pushed to page 3 (since it was orignally created on the first page which would have been an odd page).

Just to be clear...you did see the subject line of my response didn't you?

I added the extra information on even and odd for anyone else reading the thread.
