Jan 10, 2005 2:04AM PST

I am currently looking at acquiring a 42 HDTV. Shortlisted are the new phillips PF9966 and the Pioneer 435 FDE.
Any review or relevant feedback?
Many thanks

Phillips has GREAT R&D but bad application! (the whole Magnavox thing) Go with a Pioneer unit if you want it to work!

I'm looking at two Plasma TV's. One at Sam's and the other at Costco. Costco has the 43" Pioneer (PDP-4304 or 4312)and Sam's has the Phillips 42"(42pf99563). Both are selling for $3,000.00. I'm leaning towards the Pioneer but I can't decide. What did you get? And can anyone help tip the scales??

Thanks.
