HDTV recievers

I am getting an LCD TV that is "HD Compatible" or "HD Ready" and it says I need an HD Reciever to get HiDef. Do I still need to buy a HD Reciever if I have the Voom HD Satellite Reciever?

No you don't need to buy a new receiver since VOOM HD satellite is true HD Receiver signal (1080i). They have more than 21 channels in true HF format. All you have to do is connect the right wire such as component cables or dvi to get pure digital HD.
