The Mohu might be barely good enough and if you recall the 50s to about the 80's Dad would climb on the roof to install the famous Radio Shack antenna, maybe a rotor motor and wire it back to the set.
Today I use better than a Mohu. I went with this one.

Sheilding Have a power cable parallel and about six inches away from a Mohu antennae, Is there home made electrical shield that one could make to see if the signal can be improved
Touching Coax solves interference. Cleaned the surface of the ground element of the plug, the outlet counterpart as well. have found that touching the coax cable stops what I call interference of the image... some channels appear pixelated until I touch the cable.
