Surely you have some sort of cable, or Satellite digital input and most people will suggest you contact them. I have had Dish Network Satellite for the past 7 years and still having problems getting answers from them on HDTV for televisions capable or not capable, digital or analog to prepare for the upcoming demise of analog signals scheduled for February 2009.
I need some advise please. When I installed My Hitachi Ultravision to DirecTV I was never told by the salesperson that I would have to also install an ugly, obtrusive antenna on the roof of my house (I do not have adequate attic space). I declined and thus have very few HDTV programs to watch. Now someone tells me that I can switch to cable and they provide a box that would enable me to watch HDTV without the antenna issue. The costs for the switch with the programming I subscribe to would be nominal. My first question is if this is true, and as easy as they claim, why do they not promote their advantage more in this competitive market. My second question is simply is this that easy and am I missing a point or two here? Thank you for any light you can shed on this.
