HDTV connected to PC w/ HDMI DVI cable

Could someone help me with this connection, My PC is connected to my SHARP AQUOS 32" HDTV with HDMI on one end and DVI connected to my ACER small tower, But i don't hear no sound coming from the TV speakers. How can I get to play the sound through the Tv speaker, any one please help. regards Raul

Simple reason

The reason you don't hear ANY [watch those double negatives] sound is because DVI is video only, while HDMI is DVI + Audio. If the TV doesn't have any kind of separate audio inputs, you're stuck. If it has separate audio connectors, then you have to find the necessary configuration of adapters to carry the audio signal from your sound card to the TV.
