Hi Charlotte -
You can see what text looks like here:
I have both a VGA and HDMI connection; both support 1080p resolution. The only difference is that VGA is analog and DVI/HDMI is digital. DVI and VGA are video only; HDMI is both video and audio.
I've been thinking about constructing a media centre from my desktop PC and hooking it into an HDTV. I know there are lots of posts on doing this and I've been back and forth on the web and have yet to find a solid answer on my one burning question:
If I have a 720p 32" HDTV, will I be able to read the computer text (for example: internet browsing or iTunes, etc.)?
What about televisions advertised with a PC input? Would using VGA instead of DVI make a difference with this issue?
I've also considered getting a large monitor, but am worried about hooking up the wii.
Before you ask, I haven't settled on a video card yet... your responses will likely shape that
Thanks so much for your time. I'm definitely an amatuer, so I really appreciate any advice you could give me!
