Resolved Question

HDR photos look much better on phone, how to transfer?

May 13, 2014 2:38AM PDT

I have some outdoor shots that look great on the phone but once transferred to my computer look dreadful. What step in transferring them am I missing? These were shot with HDR as the atmosphere was a bit hazy and I wanted to pull a bit more color out.

Thank you

Usually has little or nothing to do with transfer.

With a rare exception I find this to be more about the color gamut of the display. Can you tell more about this computer? That way I might find a review with the color gamut measurements.

Fiddled around with the digital vibrance settings, gamma and hue a touch and have mimiced the phone images pretty well. Guess my display was as fault here. Thanks a ton.
