I would use that 3 warranty you SMARTLY purchased with the TV and get that fixed ![]()
I have a Samsung LNS4095 DX/XAA and the HDMI has worked for over 2 years, but now in the bottom 4 inches of the display I get pixelated horizontal lines the all the way across.
I have a computer connected to HDMI1 and it has the lines across the bottom. I have a Motorola STB hooked up to HDMI2 and it also has the exact same problem.
I disconnected everything and using only one device at a time, I hooked up new DVI/HDMI cables to both HDMI1 & 2 and still had the problem.
If I use Component or S-Video cables the problem goes away completely.
If I switch my computer to 720p the problem also goes away.
My signal with the Motorola STB is 1080i and always displays the lines at the bottom.
If I put the TV in a Zoom mode then the problem also goes away, but I think it is really just being hidden.
If I put it in a 4:3 mode then the lines are there across the bottom.
I find it odd that both of my HDMI connections on the TV would go bad after so long, but I can't think of any other scenario to test.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
