HDMI to DVI

Can anyone tell me a good DVD player that will work properly when connected to a tv that only has a dvi in! I heard some players don't process or even work unless its hdmi to hdmi. How about the Sony NS75H? Any advise would be great! Thanks

d.v.i. and h.d.m.i. both work the same 1080I picture quality . You can just buy a cable with d.v.i. on one side and h.d.m.i. on the other . with this set up you must run your audio to your amp stewee

Probably

As long as the DVD player still outputs sound to the optical, digital coax or RCA connections, it shoud work just fine. The only difference is that DVI does not carry the sound and you have to run an audio source. I used a DVI to HDMI cable in my Dish 811 receiver until I replaced it with the VIP622 that is HDMI and it worked just fine.
