HDMI has a different level of supported resolutions than VGA.

Did you check to see what resolution the HDMI is outputting?

kp_aditi,

Try changing the name of the input from "----" to "PC"

Here's how:

In fact, with your computer already set to a supported resolution, scroll through all the options to see which one works best for you. Be sure to edit the source that you're trying to connect the computer to.

Also, if you have "overscan" in your video card settings, turn that down to 0%.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
