I have a 46' Samsung 120hz LCD tv that worked fine when I first set it up but now only one of the HDMI ports work. So, I have to continually switch the cables of the Blue-Ray player and the cable box. The tv is only a few months old.

And I remember the tube testers in the local pharmacy!! TVs today are not TVs at all. They are digital computers with a high definition video and audio output. The old saying on other older devices, "No user serviceable parts inside".
Bite the bullet, call for service.
