Thanks for the information. I was hoping Samsung had a technical support line where I may get an idea of the problem and then maybe call the parts number. I am Tech savy and can repair most electronic things. However, if the parts folks are anything like the Customer Care Center, I just soon forget it. Those folks need some training.
One good thing is that my component and AV ports are working just fine. Where I would like to correct the issue, I can function while searching for a replacement. Samsung Customer Service has eliminated them. My other set is a Sony and where it also took a hit, no damaged was done. I feel lucky. Thanks again for your help.
