HDMI included in upconverting dvd?

Is an HDMI cable included with the 1080p8 upconverting dvd player?

It depends on the player. If the player you buy include an HDMI cable, it will be posted in bold with some type of attention grabbing graphics on the box as most players do NOT include the pricey HDMI cables. I would say most players will NOT have an HDMI cable. My blu-ray player did not even come with one.

One thing I have noticed is that most players I have seen at Costco DO include HDMI cables. It almost seems like a "Costco" thing. The players they sell will usually be the same model sold in other stores with a slight change in the last digit in the model (301 instead of 300 for example). The only difference is that the Costco model will include the HDMI cable where the regular version does not.

I was just in costco this weekend and the samsung blu-ray 1500
came with an hdmi cable. That's the 1st time i've seen it come
with 1 there.

Out of the 5 i've purchased and opened 4
none of them had an hdmi cable. Bought my
cables from monoprice. com for less than
$5.00 each shipped.
