HDMI from coputer to TV

Hello, I connected a HDMI cable from my computer to my new Envision LCD HD TV. I get great video from the computer, but no sound. The instructions for the ASUS mother board say that the HDMI will pass audio along with the picture. The TV works great with DirecTV satellite and all other modes. The computer is brand new too and has a ASUS Realtek HD audio card. Any suggestions on how I can get audio to the TV via the HDMI cable to work?

Sorry but some HDMI video cards have to be wired from the analog output jack or "on the motherboard" to the video card for said audio to show up. Also, the sound control panel has to be set to HDMI. If sound comes out the PC speakers, it's usually not set proper.

The details about your card, machine, settings are missing.
