HDMI connection between laptop and TV

I have a pastry shop and i wanted to get some nice music going during the afternoon. Since i dont have a sound system i have to work with my laptop and my Tv to get that going. I tried and it works perfectly, but i dont want the tv showing what im doing on the laptop what can i do?

Try lowering the brightness setting on the HDTV

I presume you are connecting the laptop to the Samsung HDTV via an HDMI cable? If so, you have one option only that I am aware of- to dim the HDTV display as low as possible somehow.

Let us know if that works.

Another option could be for you to add a small bluetooth speaker. TV sound via built in speakers certainly is nothing special, so there would be no loss there really.

If you dont want to show whats going on on your computer, right click on the desktop screen, click screen resolution. On the display menu, choose the TV your HDMI cable is connected to.
