Feb 21, 2009 8:49AM PST

i have a 46 in. dlp, model no. hlp4667wx/xaa , serial no. 39eq3cky50039ow, when i plug hdmi into xbox, hdmi source works. when i plug it into my LG dvd/vcr recorder, model no. rc199h, hdmi source says "not a supported mode" so i have to watch on av1, thus losing out on my upconvert!

Change output resolution

wahoo69,

What is the output signal on the LG unit?

You may have to go into the upconverting DVD player's settings and change it to a format that is supported like 720p or 1080i/p. That will give you the upconverting picture, and a better experience as well. It's likely saying Mode Not Supported due to a 480 signal being passed.

Keep me posted.
