120Hz cables are great for 120Hz signals.

Unfortunately, there is no source content that actually sends 120Hz through HDMI at this time. Blu-Ray is 1080P, but not 120Hz. Television can be as high as 1080i, but not 120Hz. PS3/Xbox - varying resolutions, but not 120Hz. <u>All of those sources send 60Hz signals. </u>

It's the 120hz technology in the televisions that will upconvert the picture to a 120Hz signal and show on the 120hz panel. This happens after the 60hz signal is passed through the cable.

I'd say you can get by with a $10.00 cable with similar results.

The great news with HDMI is that it is all digital. It will either work, or it won't. It'll pass 1's and 0's, or it won't.
