A friend recently purchased an HDMI cable and gave me his old one. He claims it works but I am always leery of plugging something in to my system for fear of damage. Could you please tell me how I can test this cable to be assured that there would be no damage to my computer or hi-def TV?
The writing on the cable is as follows:
High Speed HDMI cable AMW Style 20276 80 degrees C 30v VW - 1HDMI Interconnect Product LTD.
(If any of this helps in identification or degree of usage.)
Thank you for any assistance in this matter.
