HDD Upgrading

Sep 16, 2006 1:24PM PDT

Hello CNET Members,

I am thinking of upgrading my HDD but I'm not sure what to do. You see, If I get a HDD upgrade, won't I lose all my current data? How will I backup my files? I would'nt mind getting a External HDD but I feel it would be too much a hassle and I've heard of the stories where all the data gets deleted.

All suggestions appreciated.
