Question

HDD beeping and freezing

Apr 25, 2019 3:48PM PDT

I was using my computer when I heard something beeping, I checked, and found out that it was the hdd that was beeping. So, now if I start my computer the hdd will just start beeping and freezing mid boot. My question is, what could be the cause of this and how to fix it if possible

But you know your PC better than us. Is this HDD noise new? How old? If I come across a HDD making unusual noises I know that it's never a good sign. If the boot fails, we usually slip in a blank HDD, do a fast install of Windows to see if that's it.
