HD TV connection

by brucewar / December 14, 2008 1:05 PM PST

Which would give me the best picture/reception, or is it about the same for a HD LCD TV connected to a HD cable box: Using Component cables(r,g b) or HDMI cable?

HDMI will give you both audio and video with one cable, as opposed to 3 hookups with component.

HDMI is High Def Multimedia Interface, it will give you superior quality compared to composite. It gives good sound -and- audio.

Hdmi is the way to go... and it doesn't give you good audio, it gives you the best... 8 channels of uncompressed audio... But who cares if it's not running through surround....
