HD player conection to a PC monitor

Aug 16, 2006 6:59PM PDT

I bought a HD Player:
http://cgi.ebay.es/3-5-Media-Player-Tv-Av-Vga-Hdd-Dvd-Vcd-Mp3-EN306TV-Eur_W0QQitemZ270018371717QQihZ017QQcategoryZ96894QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and it?s working great with my tv, but I can?t manage to get it connected to a pc-monitor through a s-video to RGB cable: I plug the s-video terminal to the hdd, then the RGB female terminal (through an adapter which consist on a cable with two male parts) to the RGB line in of the monitor, but nothing happens ... Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you in advance!

I'm guessing that a tuner is needed.

The TV has one. The monitor does not.

I'm guessing that you have to change the setup in this unit to send VGA and not S-video. Without the instuctions I'm just guessing. John

VGA

I achived in the video transmision, but I can?t get the sound from the hd:

-I get the video signal through VGA cable (and swithing the output, step I missed in my last post, from AV to s-video & VGA by pressing a button in the frontal panel)

-But there isn?t a mini-jack which was the output I expected to get the sound,so with this option I?m only capable of getting the video.

My question if there is or not an adapter to convert from A/V (red, white [sound] and yellow cables) to a mini-jack and a VGA. I?ve beeing looking for it and I found the "Avermedia TV" is it the only option or is there any other?

Thank you in advance!
