HC42 owners - post a still picture?

by Arokh / August 1, 2005 8:00 AM PDT

Anybody own a Sony HC42? Could you somehow post a still picture taken with that unit?

The still pictures on mine are aweful. Which is to be expected from something that isn't a digital camera, and I don't intend to use it as such. I just want to make sure another picture taken from the same camcorder is of about the same quality and I don't have a defect of some sort.

Mine are pretty good

I have the Canon Elura and have been quite surprised with the quality and overall images from the camera feature. For internet/email pictures or even 3x5 or 4x6 pictures the thing works really really well. I will note if you wanted to enlarge a portion of the photo or make 5 x 7's or more it may not work great, but for standard pics it is great.

I will try to find time to upload a pic or two in the next few days as requested, but until then if the Sony is "aweful" not sure what to say. Canon is far from that
