I've lived near Baltimore and in almost 30 years I've never ridden the subway there once. In fact I've never used ANY of these mass transits, but my wife has used the MARC years ago and recently had to switch from all car to using light rail (free for her as govt employee)
Maybe in New York City it's unusual, but get away from there and it might be more unusual if someone had ridden a subway. Subway service is extremely local use only.
FOX News goes to subway station to show how easy it is to swipe card....asks 2 people if they heard the story, both said no...Commentator says they need to watch more news.
Problems swiping a card makes "news"?
IF she was a REAL New Yorker she would have jumped the turnstile after the first failed attempt?
