Question

Having trouble playing solitaire card games.

Mar 13, 2014 4:58AM PDT

I have a Toshiba laptop that is slow on internet but it does work. When I try to play solitaire card games, the screen flashes and I get message that solitaire game is not responding. It will eventually freeze up and I have to restart laptop. Can I anyone help me?

But if it's new and doing this it's time to take it back and exercise warranty or just exchange it.

Sorry about that. I am new to computers and this site. Hope to learn as I go. It is a Toshiba Satellite C650. It is about 4 years old. It has windows 7 loaded in it.

I'd do the usual deep cleaning, possibly replace thermal compound and if Windows is pretty dinged up, restore it to factory conditions. If there is no hardware issue it will run like new.

Thanks Bob for your help. I restored it to factory conditions and it works like a new one now.
