Question

Have XPS13 9380, Nice charger block, Need cables that work

I have a brand new 9380 and bought the following power block to service it when AC outlet not available.

Imuto X6L Pro

Charging numbers are:

5-6V/3A, 6-9V/2A, 9-12V/1.5A), 5V/2.4A, Type-C 5V/3A

However, NONE of the cables I bought are able to provide power to the XPS 13...the computer refuses connection as invalid type. They worked just fine on my ASUS tablet that charges with USB-C.

So right now I just have a useless brick. Any ideas out there?

Re: charger

The usual laptop nowadays has a power adapter giving 19V, 65W which is 19V/3.5A. Easy to check on the adapter that came with the laptop.
And the usual laptop comes with a battery that lasts 3 to 6 hours when there is no AC outlet.

So while this charger block won't work, there is no need for it either. It's nice for phones and tablets and e-readers and that's it.
