Question

Have to press and hold power button to turn on pc

Aug 23, 2016 8:02PM PDT

Firstly, My English is very bad. Please forgive me if I was wrong.

I have a 6 years old desktop. The problem is I have to turn it on very difficulty. I have to click psu switch on/off and press and hold power button for 2 or 3 minutes. I have to keep doing this 3 times or more to turn on my computer. I've checked all wires and everything seems to be plugged in. I have changed psu because old psu gave that problem. The new one is about 1 week old. But psu brand name is orlando. I know its not good. But good psu such as thermaltake, corsair are very rare in my area. But even I changed psu, that problem still happens. I dont know what to do.

Its because of motherboard? I have only that pc.

Acer Veriton
I7 2.3ghz
8gbs ram
Nvidia gtx 960
500gbs harddisk
600W psu (orlando)

Please help me.
Thank you very much for reading.

The PSU is not found when I google it so I can't give a nod to PSU, motherboard or other.

Thank you very much for replying.

Motherboard = LGA1156 Lynnfield

I too don't know about this psu brand. But sale girl said its good to use. So, I took it. This psu brand is the only one they sale. Its too hard to find international branded psu.

Is my pc going to broken down?

Is there way to repair? I dont have much money to buy new one.

I don't understand your "international brand" issue. Today many power supplies are world compatible.
