Soundcard drivers?

In reply to: Have no voice on my PC Please help

Have you tried updating the drivers for the soundcard yet?

Also, you say this problem came about after "getting booted in a room". Would you care to elaborate on what that means? I'm assuming it means it got bumped or kicked intentionally or unintentionally, and if that's what you meant, you might want to crack it open and make sure the soundcard is properly seated. Just press down on it firmly, but not hard, and make sure it's all the way in the slot. If you have integrated audio, forget this.

Well...

In reply to: Reply to sound card drivers update

I would try uninstalling those drivers and reinstalling them. Probably won't do anything, but it's not like your going to be any worse off for trying.

And I don't know of any places specifically off the top of my head, but there's always the old Internet stalwart IRC. Any of the major IRC networks such as DALNet, EFNet, etc, should have at least a few channels devoted to this sort of thing. Just be wary of anyone who requests some sort of access to your system, in case you were unaware of this being a bad idea. It may not even come up, but should someone ask, it's probably better to just move along and try to get help from someone else.
