Have my AOL Connect on 2 computers at once?

Aug 4, 2007 12:32PM PDT

Ok, I know lots of you are gonna say Dump AOL .

I got a new laptop and I wanna have two internet programs run at once on 2 different computers. Is there a way to bridge the connections so I can do that? I don't really care about how much it will lag, the program I am going to be running only needs 1 kbps at max.

Oh, and try to make it easy on me [like tell me simple instructions] because I am not really dial-up smart.

crossover cable

You need to get a cross over cable ( it has to have cross over printed on it ) and plug it into the ethernet port on each computer. It will slow you down but it works for dialup. The computer that is hooked to the phone jack has to be on. this is the simple way of doing it.
