Have I been hacked?... Is someone monitoring my computer?

Sep 14, 2014 7:35PM PDT

When I go to save a word document, under related people it has someone elses name as the manager.

And then it says it was last modified by me.

When I google that persons name it says they are a video survelance manager for a company that does (security services manager and there is a picture of him in the profile on my computer) for an intruder detection system over the ip network . I had saved the document from gmail onto a brand new computer.

I am a bit freaked out!!!

How do you mean "shows as manager". If I save a save document it never shows managers. In fact, it shows nothing, it just saves. Only f I do "save as" it shows filenames in folders in my PC.
And what do you mean with "related people"?

Can it be that person is the original author of the document? That is in the document and shows in the Info part of Word as long as you don't clean the metadata out of it.

How do you mean "a picture of him in my profile"?

The name appears in the original name of the word document. The person is named as the manager.
When you go to save the document there is screen that shows who has edited the file.

Can it be that person is the original author of the document? That is in the document and shows in the Info part of Word as long as you don't clean the metadata out of it.

Yes that is correct....

The picture comes up in a google search.
