I was shopping around and i found Alcor Electronix and they were selling a laptop for very cheap. Has anyone had any reviews from the past with them. Any advice?

Dell warranty is usually only good for the Dell buyer.
Could be that white box program Dell had. You may be getting it sans support.

Man, am I glad I did some research prior to ordering from this guy! What a loser. Thought some of you might get a kick reading the following forum I found while searching for info.

In fact, they sound a little fishy to me. They don't have an "About Us" section, or FAQs, and for a business that has been around since 2003, I got practically ZERO google hits. Some were from Bizrate, but surprise (!) nobody reviewed their store.
The deals sound too good to be true.

It seems like a fairly new development, looking at the dates of the posts. Hopefully this site has been reported, especially by those that were naive enough to go ahead and Western Union the money. This sort of thing just ticks me off...
I canceled my transaction based on info on Shopzilla http://www.shopzilla.com/6B_-_mid--143082 and here. Lost my $59 transaction fee but getting my $710 back from Western Union. Submitted a formal complaint to FBI at https://complaint.ic3.gov/Default.aspx.
