Yes a proper calibration of your set will ensure your picture is at it's best setting. BUT... be warned, many people do not understand what they should be looking at, and once their set gets done, they think it's too dark. It will be set for optimal viewing, and conditions. The room should be dark, no light in front of the picture. In this setting the TV will look incredible, even non HD pictures should jump out at you. Open the curtains or turn a lot of lights on, and the set will take on a different look, and you may think it's not good.
I got a quote of $390 per input So if you spent this ton of money would it improve the picture quality that much. I know it would really make a difference with a 3 tube projection system but with d.l.p. or l.c.d sets would it do anything. have a nice day blabbermouth stewart here
