Has anyone had any luck with softinv.exe?

Softinv.exe is a program that will allow you to track which users have checked out(like a library book)what software using an outlook form. In the form there is a button labled "Checked out by" that is supposed to bring up the address book, I can't get it to work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
