Has anyone found a webcam w/ audio that works with Win7?

Dec 24, 2012 6:28AM PST

I've read through several threads & discussions here and at Microsoft and it seems that Logitechs don't work well with Win7-64b.

I have two webcams Quickcam Communicate STX & Chat and the videos work but the sound does not. Have gone the full 9 yards to figure out why, consulted Logitech tech; seems that their webcams are not compatible with Win 7 -- AMAZING.

Has anyone found web cams w/audio that work with Win7?

Maybe I missed where there are drivers for that?

I've used their current products with 7 64 bit about a year ago with no issue. But that was then and it's not a system I remember exactly which model.

There are some that will find old gear and want new drivers. Wish there was such support.

I have it mounted on top of the monitor, I have HP desktop Compaq Presario, Model: CQ5826 and I have Windows 7 Home Premium. It takes pictures or videos and has an audio speaker built into it.

Years ago I had some other MSFT gear and it was amazing how long they supported it.

Can't write the same for their joysticks.
