... but figured maybe I just missed a few posts due to spotty participation of late. Hope and will pray that he and his family are OK.

Hi, Mark.

I'm pretty sure he was posting Friday or Saturday (absence of a search makes it very hard to be sure). He's probably just travelling somewhere.

How soon we forget Lee..........
Mar 2, 2004 3:11AM PST

Last Thursday Evie made a post about EITC which turned out to have quite a bit of replies from different SE members. Ruth Harris an old time member who rarely posts anymore made an appearance and on her last sentence she said, "And I bet that Beckie has some real war stories too on this subject. How about it, Louis?"

http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6130-0.html?forumID=50&threadID=13407&messageID=153061

I made a reply:
"Hmmm......Louis.....no reply or posts from him in a while....and he has/had lung cancer..."

http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6130-0.html?forumID=50&threadID=13407&messageID=154257

Everyone, apparently so caught up in their own little world ignored my post including Ruth who is a friend of the Marchal's.

Louis has been a very respected and active long time member of SE, and also a past Moderator in the Electronics forum. He found out he had lung cancer around the middle of last year, and agonized about wheather he should let them operate (re his posts). He decided on the operation and later was able to post a few times here in SE after the operation. He then said he would be getting Chemo.

Louis has not posted in an awful long time.
I contacted him right after seeing no one paid attention to my post and he said he is hoping/waiting for his hair to grow.

Hi John,

I also noticed Louis' absence (but didn't comment on forum about it) and sent him an email greeting card. Notification came that he saw it, but I hadn't recived any reply yet from him. I would have let folks on the forum know how he was doing if he'd replied. I decided on the card rather than the call, because I didn't know how well or badly he was feeling. Just because it's not on forum doesn't always mean we don't care.
