Let's bury it here. Virus and other such things do not respect any partitioning scheme or use of another drive. There is no safety gained here.
However almost everyone I know wants a faster booting machine. My answer is the fastest drive goes to the boot position.
Hi can any body tell me which is best, setting the small hard drive as the master and using the large one as a slave? I have this nagging feeling in my head that I have read someware that you load the software onto the slave drive, so that it only puts for once of a better word the header on the master disk to point to the program, thus leaving you less open to a virus attack. regards Don
