Yes, but you have to buy one of Microsoft's hard drive packages. The Xbox 360 uses an external laptop hard drive with a special firmware, that is contained in a snap on shell with a proprietary connector.
So you're stuck using whatever Microsoft sells. The PS3 can accept just about any 2.5" SATA hard drive.
