You were not clear what application this is. If it's the one from the enclosure, I never use those apps.
The second hurdle is that most drives from Apples are in Apple's own file system. There are tomes on the web about apps to copy the files from such a drive.
Here's one http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1980722/open-mac-drive-windows.html
I bought a eSATA/USB 2.0 combo enclosure for IDE or SATA 2.5 inch hard drives" transfer my 2006 MacBook hard drive (Hitachi SATA 120gb 2.5 inch) data to my new windows 10 PC laptop. After trying to launch the application a message popped up saying it only runs in windows 98. I changed the compatibility settings, however this just produced a message saying "jmuspdr.pdr" and then another message saying "error copy file". Is this a problem with the casing, the disk "brilliant eSATA serise driver cd" or my hard drive? And how can I solve this problem. Thanks in advance.
