Does anyone know of a program that well let me transfer ALL my data from one (C) drive to a new Drive so I can save all the data before I loose it. My C drive is about to take a dump and I need to save all my programs including Windows xp pro, office xp and Adobe. Any Help I have a old 40 gig WD and she sound's like its about ready to come through the case, and no it isn't a fan. System is MIS Nvid MoBo,1900 AMD proc,ATI All In Wonder,Creative Labs sound card,1 gig DDR Ram,DVD burn,Dvd Player,CD Rom And an apendix(Floppy)I'm sure I've missed something but that is the system. Their is about 30 gig of programs, photos, and music.I've though about Aloha Bob but heard it doesn't move XP or Office.

If you buy a (Retail Boxed)maxtor HD it provides the utilty to transfer or make an exact image from one HD to another.

Another program you may want to look into:

Norton Ghost - With drive Image Technology. This software will allow you to Image and restore a HD.

Hope this helps

WD has the software to do that. It's called Data Life Guard Tools. It will come with your new drive or you can download it from their website, I used it and it works very well.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
